Laibach - "Volk".
This album is weird, but cool. The band use many national anthems as base for their songs, combined with sorta futuristic sounds.
I especially like "America" when they sing "we are the children of God!". The irony is mountain-high.
When writing exams, I got a habit of listening to one album or band the whole week. There is a great possibility this album will "be" the exam I'm writing now.

that'd ruin the album for me. I go to pieces in exams, so any kind of association by music would just taint the music for me.

Opeth... mmmmm... Relaxing music.

How'd you like Laibach's "Wat"? It has its moments for me, but yeah, I overplayed it during one finals week so don't listen to it much anymore :P

Hehe!
I haven't heard that one. Will search for it!
In other news: I am analyzing a short story by Raymond Carver: "Gazebo". As a gamer, I had to choose that title. Everyone that has read
Knights of the Dinnertable or the
Chronicles of Michelle will probably understand what I mean...

Has anyone seen Tetsuo The Iron Man? it's quite a chaosy film, lots of people sprouting metal appendages in avery gruesome way.
Boss_Salvage - November 28, 2006 04:10 AM (GMT)
Heh, good old Tetsuo. I think "weird as hell" is the best I can do to describe it, but I agree that it's really chaotically industrial. And I think you could have thrown some " " on "appendages," maybe with a ;) or two given the certain drill that gets "sprouted" ...
:o

Perhaps. When I saw it for the first time all I could say after the drill scene was "why God, why".
