Title: For the Emperor

caeser - November 20, 2010 08:35 AM (GMT)
Well having just discovered this site allow me to introduce myself i currently have a medium sized Alpha legion force backed up with allied true chaos marines,im definately of the persuasion that the legion are loyalists of the finest pedigree ready to do anything to further their goals (whatever that is exactly),the end justifies the means.
Anyway i've a log on ammobunker that i'll put a link to when i work out how.
http://s3.zetaboards.com/The_Ammobunker/topic/7151984/
think that'll work.
I'm not the most prolific painter but i have regular internet access i just cant upload the photos at work.
Questions/comments welcome.

Hey welcome to the boards caesar : Thumb :

Just off to look at your models....

Edit: And I'm back!

Your highlighting of the blue using green is cool : Thumb : I might have missed it what green(s) do you use?

And I like the use of the scrolls on the back of the Thousand Sons Sorc. His symbol is awesome too. Oh, and his disc too.

Your daemon prince is pretty cool aswell : Thumb :

(Don't let those allies outnumber your AL, now!)

Where did yoiu get all those cogs on the bases from?

Welcome bro, I liked the thread, but I have to agree w/ WW, it needs more AL. But that might just be my bias opinion Look foward to seeing your posts later on

Thanks for the welcome chaps,

Warpwhisperer the colour scheme is dead simple
1:necron abyss. base coat
2:camo green .edges /detail
3:green ink wash. all over
4:boltgun metal. banding/armour trim
5:black ink (time permitting). armour trim
6:bleached bone/brown ink. horns

I can batch paint a squad over 2/3 nights, as for the cogs watches are always good but i prefer to get mine from Kinder eggs they're bigger and you get to eat the chocolate if the kids havn't got there first.

The reason for lots of allies is simple i use the Alpha legion as the basic force and the allies represent the various specialist troop options berserkers/noise marines etc i see them as pulling the strings from behind the scene getting the allies to do the dirty work for them.

I'm currently working on noise marines and havocs.
