Sirens, vampires, dragons, and werewolves are just some legendary characters. Each culture has its own variations, but the idea remains the same. These are the characters you rather not run into. Unfortunately for the citizens of Almori that’s not possible.

The planes of myth and reality have been blurred for as long as anyone can remember. Some keep to their own kind while most mingle freely with others. Libraries are filled with books on how to behave around certain creatures, along with warnings everyone should know. “Don’t feed vampires garlic at dinner. Werewolves should never make plans on a full moon.” These are the cautions that have kept society happy and functioning for the last thousand years. Now, a new problem is rising.

Creatures of every race are disappearing in the dead of night. No one is sure what’s happening, but arguments are quickly spreading. A few are blaming particular groups while most are demanding tighter security. While the cause is unknown one thing is certain: It’s not safe for anyone past midnight.
