Im just wondering following reading 'A 1000 Sons' just what were the relationships betweeen Magnus and his Brothers? How did the Legion interact with the others.
We know Magnus had no love lost with Russ and Mortarion. And it seems Sanguinnius and Fulgrim were sympathetic during the council of Nikea. What about Dorn, Perturabo, Guilleman, Khan. Some Chapters had allowed Librarius departments within the Legion. Was this out of respect for Magnus or that the experiment was sanctioned by * The Imperial Corpse *?
Who do you think Magnus relates well to? and who does antagonism seem more likely?

I get the feeling Fulgrim and Sanguinius was everybody's friend.
Corax wouldn't like Magnus very much just because he seems to distrust psykers apparently. Dorn also wouldn't for the same reasons as Corax.
I think the legions would allow librarians into them just because it would either follow a primarch's philosophy or would just be taken as a sign of trust in Magnus. The Khan I believe probably already had stormseers on Chogris, so going to Librarians wouldn't be that far a a leap. Guillaman must have been sympathetic to Magnus to later allow Librarians into the codex astartes (or he must have seen their uses).

I thought that Magnus might get on well with the Lion, and the likes of Perturabo and hes probably respected by Alpharius but hes probably not too eager to get too close to someone who can so easily read his mind.

I for one think it is safe to assume that the librarians from the legion speaking in the Council of Nikea speaks a lot in itself. If the primarchs of those legions (was it something like Ultramarines, White Scars, Night Lords, Salamanders ? I don't have my book nearby) trusted Magnus and his ways enough to incorporate them in their respective legions, it might mean they were on good terms.

It was built with the toil of heroes and giants, and now it is inhabited by frightened weaklings to whom the glories of those times are half-forgotten legends. I have forgotten nothing, and my wisdom has expanded far beyond mere mortal frailties."

When talking about the Sekhmet, Ahriman reflects that Ferrus (Iron Hands) said they were robotic. But from the Primarch of the Iron Hands that was probably a compliment.

Ahh, but that doesnt nessacerily mean, Magnus's use of the psychic is lauded by him. Just that Ferrus Mannus is honest with his praise.

So it seems at best we have mutual respect. Most never really trusted Magnus's abilities. Thats so sad and lonelyu.
