He watched as she turned her head away and he found himself wishing that he wanted to take it back. Sadly, he didn't. He meant what he said and to be honest, she was more than pretty in his book. However, Dylan didn't want to scare her off- which he was sure he just did with saying she was pretty.
The doors opened and she got out. Waiting a few seconds, he followed her and heard the faint 'thank you.' He beamed and kept walking. "You're welcome, Sidnee," he told her as he followed behind, going to the same place.
When they neared the door, he stepped in front of her and opened the door for her. "After you," he told her with another Dylan smile. He was simply amazed that he had gotten this far! However, he knew that he was wasn't going to report this to anyone- the government or the scientists.

Jon started out of his seat, extremely startled and not unfrightened by the presence of Angelica beside him. God, even in the light it was hard to notice the girl.
The two rarely spoke- they had very little in common. However, on this particular morning he was not particularly up for resisting a little friendliness.
He nodded. "Hey, there," he replied somewhat sullenly. He could hear- well, not hear; more like sense her thoughts sliding along, but he didn't bother to try to listen in. They weren't really urgent enough to pick up, anyway.
He drummed his fingers against his leg impatiently, waiting for any sort of scientist to show up and take him for testing. Despite how dreary and often painful as that was, it was better than sitting here. Waiting.

Glancing at him as he held the door, she blinked at him but just continued into the room. Sidnee wondered if she should of smiled or something - but she didn't believe in forcing any reaction. That would be like lying. Instead, she simply entered. Seeing Angie and Jon, she was careful to make herself alone in the back corner, sitting down. She knew it would be no use though. Soon they would all undergo the usual testing of the limits of their abilities.
Or seeking for them, depending on your situation. Sidnee had a reading rate that surely set a record and absorbed and recorded everything precisely and perfectly. Sidnee had never forgotten anything. It was as if someone had put her life into righting and folded it neatly in her mind so she could glance at it at anytime and remember. It would take some serious head trauma to make her be unable to recall things.
Two other scientists entered the room, after Dylan of course. Those that would be working with the other patients who had bothered to show up today. In a few seconds, now, the bell would right to signal the beginning of new training.
And there it was. Gong. Gong. Gong.
The two scientists booted up some machines, though not all of them. Only those necessary to use.

Sidnee allowed herself to be hooked into the equiptment that monitor her brain activity. As a helemt with a display screen on the flap was lowered onto her head, soon images and clips flashed across the screen at 32 pictures per second. Immediately her whole body tenses as her eyes widened and she soaked in the information, her breathing coming a little faster. It was important to monitor these things, because when her mind was overwhelmed too much, she would have a bad reaction.
It wouldn't be a good idea to leave her a drooling vegetable or catatonic. Amy Grey would be deadly angry.
Sidnee, however, was quite willing to this method of absorbing. Reading took far too long, and it made her rate of progress triple to ten times that of her peers. Sidnee could be in the outside world now, if it weren't for the fact that the scientists were keeping her and the other first clones for something...secret. Sidnee did not understand and was mystified as to why they wouldn't let her leave.
She was, physically, a legal adult and mentally one as well. She knew thousands of self-defense moves as well as how to wield weapons like knives and guns. Her aim was precise and lethal. She knew about how to function normally and had already learned everything she needed to know up to the college level and beyond.
Sidnee was ready. And yet, they didn't let her leave.
Sometimes she wondered if they ever would let her.

Sudden it was all gone and she fell back into the real world, her mind spinning with new information. Slowly her breathing went down and she relaxed. Lifting the helmet and ripping the wires off of her skin, she stood up and brushed herself off calmly. Giving Dylan's expected nod, she crossed her arms over her chest and made for the door.
Though the bell hadn't rung for the testing to end, Sidnee made her own schedule. When she couldn't take anymore, she left, no matter what time it was. No doubt she was going to retreat back to her room, or go find Billy's glass and keep him company. It was Sidnee's usual routine. Some even thought that she had a minor case of autism because of how little she spoke and how very anti-social she was.
However, others argued against the point. Sidnee, personally, didn't know and wasn't caring. All she wanted was to find something to make her happy - and she thought that the first step was going outside and finding it.
Leaving the room, she paused outside and finally leaned on her knees, holding her head with one hand as it throbbed harshly, as it always did after a bad session. These migraines were a weakness she didn't like to display. Straightening up, she tried to catch her breath again and keep her head on. Someone still might come out and see her distress, and Sidnee was reluctant to have someone think she ever required help.

"I think it looks like more than nothing, Sidnee," Dylan told her softly. He looked at the door, amking sure that no one else was coming out. He knew that if someone did, there was no way that he was going to get her to say anything.
"Is this the first time that you have been like this? Or has it happened before?" He looked her over for a second and pressed his lips together. "And please, do not lie to me. All I want to do is help you," he told her. Government or not, that was the truth. He didn't want to hurt her at all.
He watche her, only looking away every few seconds to make sure that no one was coming out. "Come on, Sidnee. Lets get you to your room, okay?" He told her, holding his hand out to her. He wondered if she was going to take it. He doubted it.

His sudden uproar of speech made her head hurt more. But Sidnee gritted her teeth, determined to remain strong, stronger than her pain. She decided that if he didn't want her to lie then she wouldn't say anything at all. A characteristic trait of stubbornness ran through Sidnee. Perhaps one of the few things she shared with Jessica and Amy.
Staring at the proffered hand, she looked up at the owners face for a long time, looking skeptical. After another moments deliberation she slipped her hand into his, looking hesitant. Sidnee loathed flesh contact with most people. However, she found herself almost enjoying this, the fruits of her pain. The sudden mother hen attention of Dylan and being able to hold his hand with innocence.
This was all crazy.
Sidnee was losing her mind. Something was wrong with her. She wished she could talk to someone, but if she told anyone about this weirdness inside, no doubt they would pity her or run her through new tests. Sidnee would hate that even more than these inexplicable emotions.
