This role playing game takes place before the anime series where Kenshin is an evil man slayer as opposed to the fun loving swordsman that he is in the series. The world is war stricken and half of the schools are being trained only to become soldiers of whatever regiment they're side is apart of. Despite this, Players can join as any type of character that their imagination allows and even create their own at a certain level!

Story Summary: In this era, where the Sword’s Justice is corrupt, Japan has to solve serious problems concerning foreign and inner politics. At this time there are two sides in political affairs, as there are most of the time. On one end, the pressure of foreign powers, particularly from America, obliged the emperor to break off with his isolationist attitude and to open to the western world. On the other side, numerous political revolts began a revolutionary process that took to the end of the Shogun of Tokugawa.

In this period of conflicts and bloody fights, a man distinguished himself for his pitiless violence, the samurai Battosai Himura. He was nicknamed the killer samurai because his retaliation consisted in cutting whoever he met on his way in half. It was his blood-soaked sword that was inaugurating a new Meiji age. At this time of war, the battles revolved around this one man army, who was so famous and powerful that he nearly created his own era.

This is the Era of the Botosai, the beginning of the Tokugawa resin where honor is crooked and war is everywhere. People strive to defeat the Botosai, other strive to be like him, but there are no substitutes that can compare and no one that can defeat him.
