Threadfall: Areas & Time: Threadfall is charted by all the Weyrleaders of every Weyr. These charts usually tell them when Threadfall will accure over which area of the Northern Continent. As the pass begins the Red Star comes closer to Pern. Thread will start to fall once a month, to twice a month, to every two weeks, to every week. Over a Year it will be weekly, and we are now weekly. Once 50 Years has passed it will slowly cease in falls as like the start of it, the end is the same. Weekly, to every two weeks, to twice a month, then once a month. After a Year Thread will stop falling till the Red Star comes closer to Pern once more. Threadfall lastest about 4 to 6 hours long, starting around pre-dawn to late afternoon. Even though Threadfall is weekly, there will be times when Threadfall is charted near a watery area. Thread will fall but it will fall into water and there will be no need of the Wings flying. So there will be times that two weeks will pass before the next Fall. Wings: All Wings have a singel Wingleader, two Wingseconds. Then the Dragons and riders that follow their assigned wing. All wings are lead by the Weyrleader and his Wing. Queens also fly during Fall, the Queenriders using flamethrowers instead of their dragons flaming. The Queen Wing is always lead by the Senior Queen and Weyrwoman. As with the other Wings there is two Wingseconds, unless one of the Wingseconds must lead if the current Leading Queen is land bond by being egg heavy or with her clutch. There will be times when the Wings of the Weyr will be helping out other Weyrs if their Dragon strength is low. Duties during ThreadFall: Candidates & Weyrfolk: All available hands will be active during Threadfall in the Weyr. Either helping with bagging firestones, helping in the infirmary, or even in the kitchens creating numbweed and any other medicine use to help an injured dragon or rider. Weyrlings: Like the others, Weyrlings who's dragons are still to young to fly and jump between will be helping the others in any area they can be helping. If any pairs are able to fly and jump between they will be grabbing bags of firestones and bringing them to any dragon that is low and needs more. Dragons & Riders: All Riders and Dragons if able will be in the air flaming as best as they can. Wingleaders & Wingseconds: Wingseconds job is to keep tab on what is happening in their wing and sending any orders given to them by the Wingleader even at times being the Wingleader if the Wingleader is land bound. Wingleaders job is to keep tab of their Wing as well as any orders the Weryleader gives, sending it down to his Wingsecond, as well as informing the Weyrleader what is happening in their wing, if their strength is low, or if they must combid with another wing who is low and needs the help. Goldriders: You will be either in the air or on the ground. IF in the air you will be flaming with the rest. Being issued or issuing orders if needed. IF on the ground you will be in charge of all activity of the Weyr. Informing the Weyrleader and leading Gold of all that is happening and what dragon is out of the Fall. Weyrleader & Weyrwoman: Weyrleader, it is your job that you keep up on all activities. That of the skies, the Dragons, the Riders, as well as all Wings even your own. You will be informed of what is happening with all the Wings, issuing orders to the Wingleaders. As well as informed by the Weyrwoman if what is happening either in her own Wing or that of the Weyr. The leading Gold of the Queen's Wing will be informing you of the Wing, the Gold land bound will be informing you of the activities of the Weyr and any dragon that is out of the Fall. If helping another Weyr that Weyr's Weyrleader will be leading fall as you are sub-Weyrleader. If a Weyr comes to help out your own Weyr, you will be Leading the Wings with the other Weyrleader as sub-Weyrleader. Weyrwoman, it is your job to keep check of any clumps that fall through the Wings as well as the activity above you and of the Weyr. If land bound you will be in charge of what is happening in the Weyr. Assigning another Gold to lead your wing. If in the skies you will be leading your Wing and being informed by the Gold land bound of what is happening in the Weyr. Also the Senior Queen or fellow Queens will keep any of the Dragons in line if any insubordination occurs. As well as informing the Weyrleader of what is happening. If the Weyr needs help from another Weyr you will be Leading the Wing, with the other Weyrwoman as head Wingsecond and your own head Wingsecond as second. If another Weyr needs help from your own you will be lead by that Weyr's Weyrwoman, you as main Wingsecond, and that Weyr's Wingsecond as second. ThreadScore: Depending on how long you allow Thread to be on your character(s) it can be life threatening or, minor. Your character(s) can be left with no scar, or left with a visible one. Depending on what you would like to do with your character during Threadfall, please make sure it is minor, meaning that the character will have no scar, or little to high amounts of scare. IF you want it to be life threatening, killing, or taking a limb off a character. PLEASE inform an ADMIN before doing so. -------------------- |
