Arteltol skimmed the girl Candidates as he waited for the rest of the Eggs hatched. But once the little white hatched, he wanted to forget about Oraith and Wrath being there and rush to the white's help and assist the little one find his lifemate. He never did like seeing pain, on anyone or anything. His brass firelizard was unusually quiet on his right shoulder. She was curious about the goings on with the Large Queen's eggs, as Lylie refered to Oraith. She could feel Arteltol's feelings and chirruped in his right ear, softly. He only nodded but he didn't move. His jawline twitched on the left side. He kept one eye on the white's progress and the other eye on the remaining eggs.
~~~*~~~ 'Another egg produced a lovely emerald green with dark bands around her legs. She surveyed the crowed like she was queen and no the golden behemoth behind her. She seemed to prance as she came down the sands in search of her bonded, weaving between the boys and the girls until she finally settled on one. Cilenie. your Icelath is hungry and in need of a bath. Now. Cilenie blinked. And then blinked again. Every thought in her mind scattered. She looked around her for a quick moment. She wasn't sure if it was actually in her mind or not. Yes, Cileniemind, your Icelath's voice is in you mind, and no others. Now, the food? The emerald green reminded hers. "Oh, sorry Icelath. Right this way." She led her lovely green off the sands to the waiting buckets of chopped meat. -------------------- Cilenie of green Icelath, Weyrling
Of the few eggs, another dragon hatched, a sapphire blue with a flawless hide. He keened hungrily, prancing a little with impatience as his head swiveled back and forth in search of food... or at least someone who could give him food. He galloped awkwardly down the sand rise, skidding to a halt right in front of his bonded. Art'tol!! I'm HUNGRY!!!!! The hatchling was prancing around excitedly. Please, your Brazilth is STARVING!!! I'm gonna die if I don't get something to eat now! The hatchling wailed dramatically. Blue Brazilth Rider: Art'tol (Arteltol) Base Personality: Overly Dramatic Whiner --- The white limped away from the girl and her green, something else getting its attention. Slowly and painfully, it hobbled towards the crowd sitting in the stands. Its eyes were set in a determined swirl of colors as it clutched its bleeding leg close to its body, wings spread to maintain balance. It stood there, searching. Then it froze, staring at one person in particular in the stands. V'ridan. I am Phoenith, you are mine. I hurt and I need food. White Phoenith (no gender) Rider: V'ridan (Veridan) Base Personality: Chivalrous Diplomat -------------------- |
Briena smiled at the little green, her chest seemed to puff out and close in on her all at the same time. The little girl was adorable, and she was all hers! Kneeling, she stroked the eye ridges gently, her eyes never leaving the swirling ones of her little Polath.
Brimine, your Polath said she was hungry! the little green complained, though she didn't really want to have to move all the way to the tables where she smelled the food. She was very hungry, but very sleepy as well. Briena chuckled at her little green, "I know Polath, and so we shall feed you. Let's get you to the tables," she said, love in her eyes as she spoke to her new bonded. Together the pair walked, though the smaller one seemed tired for being forced to make such an effort. Briena didn't seem to notice a single other Impression that day, nor did she even know of the injured white as it creeled to those about them. All she knew and saw was her pretty little Polath. ====================== Veridan hadn't been able to see most of the hatching, having been placed away from the crowd for the most part. It was obvious that they did not trust them. Likely that they never would. So he had stared straight ahead at the bright golden hide that was the clutchmother of the injured clutch. The moment the creeling called out, his heart ached for the creature that was making the sound. It was the first moment that he attempted to actually see what was going on. But he could see nothing beyond golden hide. Oh how he hoped that the hatchling wouldn't between itself. So few eggs as there were due to his father's efforts did not leave room for any to leave of their own accord. With each tiny cry for help, his heart hurt and he blinked in the direction that the eggs would be on the other side of the great queen. And then he saw it. The little white had managed to drag itself into his view, eyes swirling quickly, it was looking directly at him. The world seemed to still for that moment, a moment that would forever last in Veridan's mind. And then the little voice called to him. V'ridan. I am Phoenith, you are mine. I hurt and I need food. Instantly he was on his feet and jumping onto the sands, going to the little white's side and looking him over, frantic for the first time since he had heard the news of his father sending men to harm the clutch. But even that didn't seem to matter anymore. All that mattered was that little Phoenith was hurt! "Doesn't this Weyr have healers?" he demanded in angered frustration, ripping at his clothes in an effort to clot up the green ichor that flowed from his little white. Fury and pain were rippling through him, though he never once looked away from the painful sight of the green stained white. ((May I refer to Phoenith as a male? Ruth is referred to as a male, he just never rises to chase or fly)) -------------------- |
