Quiet, My first RP post!

[*Iris Nyte]

It was quiet. Almost too quiet for one such as Iris. She was used to bloodlust and anger among her kind. But not herself.

She walked around the area, not sure what to do or what to say. It appeared that no one was present. But knowing her luck, someone would be there, just lurking in the shadows, waiting to get at her purple flesh.

Iris swung her black hair behind her and hurriedly started to walk out.

[*Narf Something]

Iris was right, in fact. But her monster was not lurking in the shadows, no, this one was in plain sight, a dark silhouette in the moonlight atop an old spire, the mere ruins of an old building. A sinister light illuminated the figure' eyes as she painted a grotesque scene on the crumbling walls. Paint, or what most hoped was paint, was splattered across her front as she eyed her handiwork with a smile. Then she turned to find another medium, discarding the disembodied arm that was her paintbrush...

[*mai]

I hate these parties.

Mai grumbled to herself, her steps hurried and her cheeks flushed, though you couldn't much tell through the ivory white make-up she wore. It was just her luck that the Sakura teahouse was in the slums, and her next invitation happened to be closer to home, in the geisha district - which was a good thirty minute walk. She wasn't looking forward to it.

Something purple caught her eye, and she looked up, seeing a slender female walking towards her on the sidewalk, looking very confused.

She's...purple, Mai mused in shock. Why is this town suddenly full of strange creatures?

[*Iris Nyte]

Iris saw the white skin and silky dress of another human being standing, staring at her, as if in wonder. Iris walked up to this apparent mortal and inquired, "Do you know where this is? I seem to have lost my way."

(yush, narfy, you will be pulled in.)

[*mai]

Mai smiled at the confused look on the female's face, and answered politely, "This is Haraguru, miss. Are you lost?"

[*Iris Nyte]

Iris bowed slightly to the young woman. "Yes, I think I am," she replied, then flashed her a grin, revealing her sharp k-nines.

[*Narf Something]

"Lost?" A voice questioned in an almost teasing manner. "LOST? THE ARTIST IS NOT LOST." A figure slowly came into view. "THE ARTIST KNOWS."

[*Iris Nyte]

Iris tensed as the unknown voice came from the shadows. She didn't like things she couldn't see; it was one of her many pet peeves.

"Who is there?" she called out. "Show yourself to me!"

(ooc: regret to inform you I must call it a night. sorries. //occ)

[*mai]

I guess I really do attract bad luck, Mai thought, then grabbed the purple woman's arm.

"It's best to just run. The city has been dangerous these days," she informed her. "I know a safe place - there's a teahouse not to far from here. I was just on my way there. If we run, we could make it there."

[*mai]

(To Faith: okay with me. go right ahead)

Iris shuddered as the woman touched her arm, but held still. "Yes, alright. My name is Iris, by the way. May I inquire as to what your name may be?"

[*mai]

"I'm Mai," she said. "We'll have introductions later. Quickly!"

[Faith]

Faith Was walking around the block and she was mai run By"Mai'She yelled and went after

"Faith-san!" Mai replied, slowing down slightly so that she could catch up. "It's not safe in this part of town. We just saw something odd...covered in red blood! I'm taking Iris-san back to the Hanami teahouse!"
