Eve chuckled, tickling Arend's stomach, then Gwen crawled over and demanded to be picked up. With a mocking sigh, Eve scooped up the little girl in one arm. "You two are getting too heavy for this." She complained. Gwen pouted slightly, then giggled, clapping her hands over her mouth. "What am I going to do with you, silly child?"

I'm going to go with play with her on this one. Although I would put 'hand her off to Puniceus at a close second. Oh, wait. That last one is what I would do. Never mind. Nith landed alongside Kerebos with a soft thump. Good morning he said politely to his fellow dragon.

Eve rolled her eyes and set Arend down on the ground, who happily crawled over to Kerebos, smiling and giggling at the big green as he watched the boy lazily with one eye.

Human pups are so weird... but they are quite adorable.

Arend giggled and clapped his hands again, crawling over to Kerebos' snout. Playfully, the dragon snorted on him, blasting the little boy with a burst of hot air. Arend looked startled for a moment, then laughed and patted Kerebos on the nose with his little hands.

Nith tilted his head to the side Yes, I suppose they are. It's when they get older that they become such a nuisance. "You know, that's funny." commented Puniceus loudly enough to be clearly heard by the dragons. "I was going to say the same thing about dragons."

[Wyrda]

Sounds like somebody's cranky.

Kerebos commented, lifting Arend up carefully with his tail and setting the small boy on his snout. Arena cooed and hugged his massive muzzle as best he could, snuggling his cheek against the hard, warm scales. Kerebos purred pleasantly in response.

Arend would make a good dragon rider.

"And yet, people still think dragons are terrifyingly scary creatures. Bad press I suppose." mused Puniceus. He sat down and set Rhia in his lap.

Eve chuckled as she watched Arend slowly nod off, sticking his thumb in his mouth as he cuddled up against Kerebos' thick brow. "Aww, that's so cute." Kerebos had to cross his eyes slightly to look down at the boy. Gwen giggled and yawned, indicating she was getting tired. "It's someone's nap time isn't it?" Gwen gave her a sleepy look as Eve put her back in her crib and tucked her in.

Rhia reached out towards her sister and Puniceus carried her to the crib and tucked her in alongside Gwen. He glanced over at Althea, but she seemed quite intent on whatever she was thinking about.

[Wyrda]

Althea just kept glaring. Eve sighed, leaving the little girl alone. "I still can't think of a gift for Mjor. I wonder how old she's actually turning."

"Well, I'm not going to ask her, that's for sure." Puniceus replied. "Maybe we could ask Mjnerva or another of the Wyrms for advice about it."

[Wyrda]

"That'd be a good idea. I've been meaning to visit the capitol anyway. I heard Mjor and Samuel went off somewhere. Also, the festival is almost ready, thought maybe we could get an early start and see what it's all about. That is, if you aren't too busy with work." Eve commented in a sarcastically suggestive manner.

In answer, Puniceus went over to Eve and kissed her hard and long enough to lift her off the ground. "Oh, I think I can find the time for that."

[Wyrda]

Eve chuckled warmly and kissed him on the tip of his nose. "Good. Better pack for a long trip, the festival is 13 days long." She patted him on the shoulder, smiling.
