[Wyrda]

It had felt like an eternity to Eve since she had last been to Azure Sanctuary, yet here she was, once again one of its dragon rider residents. Kerebos was pleased to be home again, the valley was always quiet and serene, helping one relax and forget the hardships and dangers that laid beyond it.

Her son hiccuped, then broke into giggles as she held him in her arms. Eve smiled down at him, playfully tickling his nose. He was beginning to develop his father's characteristics, eyes already the exact shade of grey.

Kerebos purred softly as he watched mother and child.

He was sired by a good man. He'll be a very honorable young man when he grows.

The dragon commented, the baby grabbing at the trusses of Eve's lengthened hair. "Yes, he will. It feels... nice, to be back here." The green dragon bobbed his head in agreement.

"I certainly hope that it does," commented Puniceus while making sure that Rhia didn't fall and hurt herself while she tried to climb up onto his shoulders from one of his arms. Gwen slept contentedly in his other arm.

Eve chuckled. "Rhia's getting lively. I dread the day when she learns to talk, we'll probably never get her to shut up." Arend giggled, pulling down on his mother's hair. Eve winced and gently pried her locks free from his vice-like grip. "Ow. Arend, don't do that." He laughed in reply and Eve blew a raspberry on his belly, making him shriek in a fit of giggles.

"Right up until she gets big enough to climb trees, then we may never see her again, until she gets hungry or starts to miss Gwen." He laughed softly. "It seems like our domestic lives are becoming much more interesting."

[Wyrda]

Arend blew spit bubbles, clapping his hands in delight as Eve held him up. "Yes, they are Puncieus." She fell silent for awhile. "Do you think Mjor and Samuel are going to work out?"

Puniceus hooked his arm around Rhia and brought her back down off his shoulders at which point she immediately began climbing again. "I think so. The real question is which of them is going to spend more time apologizing to the other."

[Wyrda]

She chuckled warmly, Arend yawning as he grew drowsy. "Is it someone's nap time?" Eve cooed at the little boy, who blinked at her sleepily. Smiling softly, Eve placed him back in his crib, tucking him under his favorite blanket. Arend sighed in contentment and curled up, falling asleep within moments. "He's so adorable when he sleeps.... pretty much like you."

Puniceus followed Eve's lead, laying Gwen down into the crib she shared with Rhia then once again hooking his arm around Rhia and putting her in as well. "Play around in here for a little while, okay?" he said to her. Then he went over behind Eve and hugged her. "Flatterer." he accused her.

"I thought you liked flattery, dear?" Eve teased.

"Well yes, but that isn't the point." Puniceus replied. He pushed her hair back and kissed her neck.

[Wyrda]

Eve sighed softly, she just melted under his kisses. "Well, if you're accusing me of being a flatterer, then I accuse you of being a seducer." She smirked at him over her shoulder.

"I thought you liked it when I do that, dear?" he teased her right back. "Besides, I needed to change the subject, and I think we both prefer that way to almost any other."

[Wyrda]

Eve chuckled, reaching her arm back to ruffle his hair. "Let's keep it away from the little ones. They're far to young to be learning such things." Kerebos snickered, but didn't make a remark. She turned around and threw her arms around his neck and kissed him soundly.

"But of course" replied Puniceus just before Eve spun around to kiss him. "Well, it seems like you really are happy to be back." He gave her a sly grin then adopted a more serious expression. "I really missed you, you know." He kissed her and then rested his forehead on hers.

Eve smiled warmly and stroked his soft hair. "I know... I've missed you just as much. But now, we have time to be together." She rubbed her nose against his and giggled softly. "Better late than never."
