Aiedail Announcements

[Wyrda]

Zeckt was waiting on the topp floor, torches lighting the empty room. Epere was sitting on the roof, keeping watch. The other two should be here soon. Zeckt was too deep in thought to comment back, so Epere fell silent once more. He had alot on his mind.

Puniceus was the next to arrive. He easily ascended the stairs and reached the top floor. He noticed Zeckt was deep in thought so he quietly slipped into a seat.

[Randomhitter]

Thor then entered the Tower last, and not too gracefully as he still had some alcohol in his blood, and a now developing pounding headache. He sat in the remaining chair and started laughing. "Oye, remember te last time we oll got together in one room?"

[Wyrda]

Zeckt looked at Thor quizzical. "Have you been drinking?" He asked, then shook his head, "Nevermind, don't answer that. We have more important things to discuss. We need to figure out what we are going to do now that there is a king on the throne."

"That should be fairly obvious, shouldn't it?" asked Puniceus. He leaned out over the table. "We are going to have to accept his rule at least until we have some way of effectively resisting his rule."

[Randomhitter]

"Well what the hell am I suposed to do about this?" asked the now short tempered temper. "I'm not from his original rule, I should be considered a rogue by his empire, and I don' even know if hed try to make an arrangement with me of just declare himself as ruler over my hold, cause I ain' avin that."

"Well the first thing you should do is sober up" Puniceus said with a slight edge to his voice. "You aren't going to do them much good by getting drunk whenever a problem comes up."

[Randomhitter]

"Sober up? I'd Sober you if it wernt for your status."

[lupus_acerbus]

"Would you now" asked "Well then why don't we put those titles aside for a moment" He had been itching for a fight since that afternoon.

[Randomhitter]

"You don' have to get up princess, i'll make sure that you'll need more than that chair to keep you upright after i'm done with you."

[Wyrda]

"ENOUGH!!" Zeckt shouted. "We cannot quarrel amongst ourselves." His expression was serious, yet he looked tired. "To fight amongst each other would ensure Zurak's control of Aiedail. Our concern now should be the few remaining dragon tribes. They're numbers have been greatly devestated by the war it will take them centuries to regain even half of their numbers. We need to take steps to ensure they aren't destroyed or worse."

Puniceus leaned back in his chair. "If the dragons resume the old conflict then nothing will be able to stop their destruction. They must be convinced not to let the war start anew." He paused for a moment then spoke again. "There will only be a short window of oppurtunity for us to act. Once Zurak has consilidated his power being useful will be much harder for us."

[Randomhitter]

"Hmph," Thor grunted sitting back in his chair, "well i don't know bout' all this restatring the war nonsense, but I have a few riders to spare, but you would be the ones convincing them to fight, no one from the freezing plains plans to risk der neck fer anting the don't belive in."

[Wyrda]

Zeckt sighed heavily. "Yes, but this means we will be picking a side. I'd rather the Riders as a whole remain neutral, but it will be incredibly difficult to protect the dragons while keeping solid, positive status among the people. Our popularity isn't very high among the people and Zurak will probably focus on that for the time being."

Puniceus responded to Zeckt's statement saying "If we choose to remain neutral then, once Zurak moves against them, the dragons will have to take care of themselves. Unless anyone knows a group of people who can help out the dragons without starting the war all over again?"
