AFTER THE TUDORS;

After The Tudors is an AU site, but uses history as a guide, and takes aspects from the Tudors TV series, as well as the Elizabeth movies. It's up to you, the members, to decide the outcome of the site. Will the Catholic Mary remain queen, or will she be triumphed by the Protestant Elizabeth?
As of now, Edward is dead, and in his place sits his devoutly Catholic sister, Mary. For months Mary has been hiding behind closed doors, in fear of the public she now has to rule, the majority of which are Protestant. Never imagining she would live to sit on the throne, the new queen not only has to deal with her people, but the secretaries who once worked so diligently for her brother. Between her citizens, and her council, returning to the old ways, and forging the bonds that were once broken with the Sea of Rome, will not be easy for the eldest Tudor, but she is determined to try.

After a site-wide vote, it has been decided that Edward will die earlier than he did according to history, and that Mary will in turn come to the throne earlier than expected. Edward simply doesn't have enough staying power as a character, and considering I play Mary, I think I can be a more active monarch than our previous Edwards have proven to be.
As of now, Edward is dead, however the news has yet to be released to the public because of his supporters, who were unable to convince him to rewrite the succession, and place a more favourable person on the throne, as opposed to the strictly Catholic Mary Tudor. Some of them fear for the fate of their religion, while others fear for their lives, those like Thomas Cranmer, one of the many men responsible for not only tearing asunder the marriage between Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon, but also desecrating the religion that supported Mary throughout the trials and tribulations of her earlier years.

Is there going to be a certain date in game which he died, just so we know for reference?  I understand the news is suppressed, but I'm just curious as to the proper date. XD |

It is currently March in 1552. There are currently Ten Females and Nine Males, and no character bans.
