Welcome to After Graduation! Why don't you tell us a little about yourself?

My name’s Chris and I’ve been RP’ing for a while now. I enjoy the Harry Potter universe and always love writing it. I live in California with my wife and my cat. I’m not one for putting a whole lot into these bios. If you want to know something, feel free to ask.

Now that you've told us about yourself, why don't you tell us about your character? Here's a quick summary sheet to make it easy.

Describe your character in less than a paragraph.

Josh is just an ordinary guy that likes to have fun his own way. He’s got a lot of friends in all different places, but it always looking for more. He can be serious when he needs to be, but tends to prefer having fun.

What's your posting style like?

I can write all sorts of different styles, but tend to stay with the more serious. As far as time between posts, I will tell you that my work blocks this website, so there is no such thing as a quick turnaround unless I happen to be at home and available. I would say anywhere from a day or two between posts is about average for me.

What sort of plots or roleplays are you interested in? Serious or light? Long-term or short?

I am interested in any kind of roleplays. I like to create long term “story” type threads, but the short and sweet threads are just as fun.

[Kelsey Andersson]

Hey I'm Jemma...

I've currently got two characters here:

Kelsey Andersson: Kelsey is smart, nice, thoughtful, patient, sensitive, and likes to joke around. But when she get’s past her pressure point, she will explodeswith anger. She's ambitious, helpful and caring with it comes to toher people. By nature, Kelsey is an academic. She loves to learn. At times, Kelsey is reminded of her past and then becomes depressed; but this does not happen as much since she worked at Beauxbatons in France for over a year. When it comes to love and romance, she falls in and out of love very quickly, at her age she should be looking for a man to settle down with...but Mr Right has not yet arrived. Kelsey is the youngest of two girls (sister is Mattie Andersson) and is cousin to Nessa and she is currently working on Level Three of the Minsitry as a member of the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad.

Derek D'Ambrosio: Derek is a six foot and 2 & half inches tall guy, with large hazel-green eyes; which any girl could fall right into. He has short, bed-messy brown hair, he doesn't usually use any product unless he is on a date or something. Derek is always clean shaven, unless it is the morning after the night before. Derek is known for his athletic build and is huge smile, even though he is naturally slender, you know that he is strong. He can bench press 290 lbs and deadlift about 300 lbs and also Derek is very fast for his height. Derek has recently had to have glasses, not telling anyone...but he has chosen to have contacts. Derek is a good looking boy, but he has never really believe it. When he was younger he uses to have acne, but due to the wonders of modern medicine his skin is all clear. Derek has a few childhood scars and no holes where there shouldn't be holes. He does have one tattoo of scriptive writing; the word is 'Loyal' and it is on his left wrist. Derek is American and attended Tagetes Academy and graduated in 2014. Derek is currently the Quidditch world Cup Organizer at the Ministry.

[Artemius Baxby]

As of yet, I have three characters: Artie, Griselda and Zimmerman.

Artemius Baxby is a disillusioned young man whose world quite literally fell apart during the dreaded week. His mother, Elaine Baxby, a trained healer, is in particular a highly seasoned lycanthropologist. For many years, she had a Welsh cottage by the sea (hidden in the Muggle village of Tywyn) that was a converted bed-and-breakfast. It did not hold vacationers, however -- instead, it was home to newly changed lycans (since the whole family has a rule to not refer to them as werewolves, seeing the cruel and animalistic and unfair connotations with the word and "creature" in Wizarding society) and houses them as they adjust to this new way of life, providing them shelter, a loving family setting, Healing care, a sheilded, guarded forest for transformations, as well as the Wolf's Den -- a privately owned cafe that is reserved only for denizens past and present of Baxby Cottage and others of the same affliction. His father, a broker of sorts, also had a workplace in the midst of Tywyn, but when the magicless week came, both were discovered by Muggles and destroyed -- Blake Baxby did not survive, and after a month or so of recovery, Artie and Elaine are managing through her working at St. Mungo's and Baxby getting a boring, yet fairly well paying security job at the Ministry. His change in favours has him rather bitter, and you're liable to hear him grumble about bureaucracy over a rum and cola after hours at the Leaky Cauldron, toting pamphlets to raise money for a new Cottage, or blearily standing guard in the halls of the Ministry. If you catch him after work, however, he's a charming young man with visions for another future.

Griselda Campbell, on the other hand, is completely different. Bright and flamboyant, she exudes sexual confidence, and is often flaunting her ill-gotten fortunes -- she's the author of such novelists as Scottish Rose, Gaelic Geisha and Nile Queen. Unfortunately, before she was a successful novelist, she was a horrid gossip columnist, hidden under a pen name until she was pointed out by her former friend and now hated rival, Rita Skeeter, and had to flee the country for the sake of her name. Now, she is a cougar, preying on the young wizards of England, keeping an eye out for the subject of her next juicy, evil column...

Haselm Zimmerman, known to his customers as Mr. Zimmerman or even Zim, owns a suit shop in Wickliff District. With the finest fashions and family businesses around the world, he has quite a bit of wealth to his name. He went to Durmstrang for his magickal schooling, and learned the family trade where it all began -- in the heart of Germany. He enjoys the quirky eccentricity of the English, but lives on the philosophy of viral advertising, and does his best to keep his customers happy. He will always lend a listening ear to his customers, and is known to hold business cards and other similar periodicals on his counters for others to consume, but his priority is good business, and helping his customers leave looking their best.

[Apollo Sinistra]

Hiya Chris! I’m Apollo, just coming back from a three week (or is it a month now? *shrug* no matter) long absence, so apologies for not posting here sooner. Anyway I play Apollo Sinistra, Zippy Sinistra, and Sofia Robards. One of my characters and yours might have a tad bit or a lot in common. It really depends on if I read your app right.

Apollo Sinistra: He’s a flamboyant fashion freak with a love of glitter and the latest trend – usually created by him. He’s a co-owner of the Sinistra Secondhand Shop with his twin sister Artemis and the fashion ‘prophet’ for the daily prophet. Apollo is also a proud member of the boy’s club (Atlas, Jasper, Wendell, Will and himself). He’s pretty fun loving and knows everyone and everything that needs to be known about social scenes and fashion – oh and he’ll hit on anyone. He’s currently father’s a love child that he doesn’t know about with Carmen and well open to making more friends or offering fashion advice.

Zippy Sinistra: Apollo and Artemis’s slightly insane grandfather that is an ex-unspeakable. They retired him at a young age when he started talking to things no one else could see, which isn’t that crazy when you account he did a lot of work with trying to communicate and discover the spirit world. Anyway if you need a bumbling old man to talk to he’s one of several that will offer a good chat about unicorns crossing the street or how his latest prank went.

Sofia Robards: She’s the newly made department head of aurors (one of the youngest in history) that comes from a long line of prestigious purebloods and aurors. She fell in love with one of her contacts (Wendell Darrow) and broke him out of jail then found out he died and then started dating him in his alter-ego form of Dillan Wentworth who posing as an auror. Fell in love again. Then she found out the whole Dillan is really Wendell thing and is not all that emotionally balanced to say the least. Anyway I was thinking that she and Josh might already know each other from work and from traveling in the same society. While Josh sounds more like a muggle sympathizer I’m pretty sure all the pureblood youth know each other, or of each other. Best of all they both have a father complex – only yours is alive and Sofia’s is dead. Anyway I’m open to any ideas you might have between the two.

WOW!! A ton of options.

Here goes nothing:

1. Kelsey - She and Josh could know each other from work. Plus, as someone that loves academics, she could always head to him for a quick study or anything like that.

2. Derek - Not sure how these two could meet other than at the Ministry, but it could make for light fun getting to know each other.

3. Artie - Anyone that likes to drink would be fun for Josh to meet. As a security guard, Josh would probably see him on a consistent basis and would be fun to talk to.

4. Griselda - OOH.....a cougar. Any writer is someone that Josh would love to meet. He has a penchant for writers and reading, though his tastes normally lean toward the academic, he does read fiction. It's possible they could meet and Josh could have read some of her novels and ask for an autograph or whatever.

5. Apollo sounds like a fun person for Josh to meet. It could be interesting to say the least. Josh is fun loving and enjoys a good time, though he can be serious too. So, who knows.

6. Sofia would also be fun to RP with. You're probably right in that they at least knew OF each other in their youth, if not at least been in places at the same time due to society events.

*Proudly takes the first strike...* As a recent high school graduate, this is my last summer of doing nothing, so I practically live here.

Ah, you like Griselda! Thank goodness. No one seems to quite like her. I thought she'd get on a bit more sportingly than she has, but that's neither here nor there. I've been left mixing her with Zimmerman, as no one was responding in her open thread. If you'd like, PM me with a place to meet up at. A party at Jarvey Estate? The Leaky Cauldron for a drink? Let me know which one suits your fancy.

As for Artemius, yes, he's rather popular. So, meet at work, or Leaky Cauldron? He's far from a lightweight, so if you want a drinking buddy, he's a good man for it. Let me know. I'm always up for a bit of fun.
