Her music just drives me crazy - HAS ANYONE SEEN HER UTADA UNITED TOUR??? It's simply amazing - I think she did a wonderful job arranging the songs and performing it.

Not only that, her music videos are so beautiful - especially Passion and Sakura Drops.

She was also the singer of "Simple and Clean" in Kingdom Hearts and "Sanctuary AKA English version of Passion" in Kingdom Hearts 2. Personally, I think she should get more exposure in the U.S. Her music is pretty catchy.

Not only that, there are so many artists who show off skin and act stylish. She's one of those conservative people that keeps her songs clean and not talking about, "I saw you at the club and we grinded and you turned me on" type of a thing.
:) so I like that about her too. It's nice to see an artist like Utada these days.

Anyone have an opinion?

Back in my otaku days, i used to listen to Hikaru a lot, esp. with richard. then again, i listened to a lot of other j-pop, but hikaru was allright. i liked DAI a bit better though. Passion and Simple and Clean were good. Sakura Drops was...a bit off for me. I dunno why, it just didn't hook me.

There were some other songs that i liked by her, but i have to find them again.

Overall, she's a good singer. I wouldn't want her to be known by everyone, because then she'd mainstream her songs in order to appeal to all peoples, and then her songs would suck ><

Happened to the Office.

That's true. I think one thing that's really nice about her though is the fact that she doesn't like being famous... :-S if that makes any sense at all. xD I guess she's very humble and only surrounds herself with her loving fans and her music rather than the pap and the magazines, etc, etc.

Yeah, I also got through Hikaru because of Richard. xD remember him writing the lyrics of Simple and Clean for me??? Haha.

:-S not that I know of. I never really keep track of when she brings out new songs... I THINK she got a new song out just recently... something 'beautiful'. Forgot... then again, maybe I'm confusing it with another artist.

She hasn't really been doing anything new except the Utada United Tour a few years ago... well, all which was after her divorce with her husband. hmm...heartbreak much?
