Guardian Deity Group: Admin Posts: 436 Member No.: 1 Joined: 14-November 07	I leave myself logged in to Abydos on my home and work computers. Lately when I load the site it says that I'm signed in anonymously... except that I've never signed in anonymously. If I hit the refresh button and load the site again, it takes the * off my username and says that I'm not signed in anonymously anymore. It does this on my home computer (Mac, Firefox) and my work computer (Dell, MSIE) and no matter whose internet connection I'm using. I've tried logging out and logging back in, but this still happens. Is anyone else having this problem? Any idea what it is? I've been leaving myself logged on to my computer (which is also a Mac with Firefox as my main browser) for months now, and it has never signed me in as anonymous. I don't know if it'll do that if I log out and log back in again. Then again, I'm not the one behind the admin/creator's seat and thus have no idea what goes on behind there (on a side note, I tried making my own forum once. It didn't turn out so well, so I abandoned it.) The only suggestion I have is to try clearing all your cookies. If you've already tried that, then I'm afraid I can't help any further. I don't believe I've ever ran into that problem myself and I've modded/adminned for several sites over the years now. Well, I do know on the one site there was one person in particular that would appear as anonymous, but I always assumed she did so on purpose. I don't think clearing cookies will do it as it appears to be a site thing and not a computer think... Try logging out and doublecheck your log in settings or try looking up your user profile via ACP to see if there might be any settings there that would do that. I've been having that same problem with one of them, but I've been too lazy to do anything about it if I even can.
