I owe you guys an RP

It's time for me to crawl out of my little hole and write with other people again. I will join any story with any character that meets the following requirements:

1) A group RP, so with at least 2 other players
2) I don't want to drive the plot

There you go! My muse wants some laid-back fun writing to get itself back into gear again. Post below if you're interested and if you have some ideas for a story!

well, let's see... there's love's parsimony which is almost a plot in and of itself.

Ithil would work very well with Elena montcour

I think Rhys would do well with Olivia


Plots:

Elenal already has a larger plot (and frankly all my characters do )

in which Ithil could play a part. I don't know what Ithil's job is, but Elena is destined to aid the gods in the happenings of fate by being a gateway or a portal of time and space.

Or that's the general idea anyway. The exact reason and goal to be acheived by that job is yet to be revealed.

Anyway, righ tnow, she seeks answer concerning the anachron, and also a way to right herself to normalcy. Of course, other things happen along the way.

Olivia...mm Olivia is an empath with a reserved personality. She needs a husband. But that's not exactly a major majpr part of the plot (and one which I'm hoping to put off as much as possible."). As the new princess, she will have duties with other nations, and would need an ambassador.

Rith would make an excellent ambassador, with his dreamwalking abilities. And of course court intrigue is always exciting.

Players:

Elena Montcour: I will be bringing along the two boys mentioned in the two [p] chapters.

Historians, rogues, and wanderers are all welcome.


Olivia: Rowan will probably be a minor player. But I havn't decided yet.

Knights, princes, demi-gods, servant types, assasins and anyone else you can think of that would fit in court are more than welcome.

Well, now that midterms are over and done with, I also want to get back into the swing of things with an RP. Perhaps we can also do something together. I have several ideas in mind:

Piran
My Melogi family (Geralt, Marble, and Lucanto)
Sora

As far as Piran is concerned, I kinda had a topic here that's been sitting around for awhile, if that piques your interest.

I also want to resurrect and maybe give a second stab at my "How to Grow a Garden" thread with my melogi family, if you'd like to contribute.

Otherwise, I would happily get any of my charries involved with Eddy's ideas so long as the Melogi family remains in Meigia and Piran remains in Rith. Either Zoe or Sora are flexible in any place.

Or I could get my Leviathan thread up and running again, and Ri could join in.

Any of the above sound intersting?

I liked the idea of playing Rhys. Alex or Tieke would be ok too, as they're all pretty ordinary people. I don't think I want to play Ithil, he's a very plot-intensive and almost demi-god character and that's a bit intense for me right now.

Alex is completely Nerandor-based, Tieke I can play anywhere very flexibly, and Rhys is somewhat Nerandor-based but can make his way to a few of the nearer continents if needed. I like Eddy's idea of playing a court RP with Rhys and Olivia - it sounds very simple. AOC, do you have any Nerandor characters?

We would be on Nerandor since that location seems to fit everyone.

Unless ya'll would rather play somewhere else. I would like it if AOC brought Zoe. (But you can bring whoever you want.) Flex, could you bring Weave or Karam?

Plot idee 1:

Characters: Rhys, Karam and Zoe

So basically, Zoe comes to the palace to play as an entertainer, and ends up getting into a relationship with one of the nobles, and discovers a plot on the dude's life.

Karam is the assassin sent to take out the noble.

Rhys starts out as advisor, helping Oliva and Zoe pick up clues. And then eventually they all hike it over to another palace, to resolve the issue. Rhys and Olivia work it out with the rulers of the other kingdom, and Zoe either breaks it off, or gets married. (or Rhys *is* the foreign ambassador, and Olivia gest her advice somewhere else.)

And Karam ends up unable to complete the job, but under suspicion; yet not arrested. Or he escapes.

Plot Idee 2:

Characters: Rhys, Weave and Zoe

Weave steals something rather important. Like the crown jewels of another nation. Only he doesn't have them anymore. Zoe ends up with them.

And then Zoe comes to play at the court. And when the foreign ambassador arrives to inquire about the missing jewels, everybody's like O_O???.

Of course Rhys has to use his skills to work with the foreign amabassador (or Rhys *is* the foreign ambassador) and help everyone else solve the trouble.

And since wouldn't want weave to die (as dieing is no fun) he escapes.

Any other plot suggestions?

Does anyone want to bring a character that hasn't been specified yet?


Edit: Since Rhys is going to be playing Ambassador, I could conferr upon him the title of Earl of N'ovorod unless you'd preferr he worked for the other side.

Rhys isn't affiliated with a particular kingdom, but he can probably function as the ambassador you describe by virtue of his rank in court as a sorcerer. As a favor to the king/ruler he can offer to help with whichever plot situation we choose.

In terms of the plot, it doesn't really matter to me, though Rhys would be doing about the same thing in either story. I like it when the plot is left somewhat open so that we can improvise as we go... so if you want we can just start it out and see where the story takes us!

Ooh yeah, I'm totally up for anything, problem is, whch character should I use, Weave or Karam? I don't think I've had a chance to play Weave in an RP yet, so I'm leaning toward him, plus he can be just a bit more courtly than Karam.

Ri: Well, I have Aine, my sky-fae half-breed, who runs her little tea shop up in northern Nerandor. Zoe and Sora are both pretty flexible in terms of location, and my playful merfolk Lynn hangs around the shores of Nerandor.

Eddy: Haha, Zoe still finds this world a very strange place, so she isn't very likely to play for a king's court just yet. But she could, you never know...XD.

I'm kinda not running on any plot ideas at the moment, so I'm inclined to follow whatever you think up of.

Yeah, this week's hell week for me. Rehearsing in the pit orchestra with the cast from 6pm-11:30pm. Such fun. And opening night's this week. I might get something in on the weekend.
