QUOTE (Kim @ Jan 9 2008, 03:06 PM)
I recently joined WW just to get a jump start - they have a program called the 'Kick Start' - when I have a minute I can post some info if anyone is interested. They suggest 6 small meals a day - breakfast, lunch and dinner and 3 snacks - one between breakfast and lunch, one between lunch and dinner and one in the evening.

Sounds like you're heading in the right direction Marylou (have to remember there are 2 Mary's here LOL!) If you want a 'buddy' I'll buddy up with you - I could use one too!

Buddying up sounds good.

As long as it works out to 60 minutes a day and a brisk walking pace it should work good for you. I like the eliptical because it gets your whole body moving and feels pretty easy.

well I have been outside most of the day walking roughly on and off for 2 hours so I cannot go on the trampet today.

I will make sure I do it tomorrow as I am not going anywhere.

I was surprised when i stepped on the scale and i seen such a difference in my weight because just by looking at me you can't really tell much so i had to ask my hubby if it looked like i lost some weight before telling him how much.

I treat myself every now and again.I haven't given anything up,just put smaller portions on my plate and eat every meal put a couple snacks everyday and exercise at least 30 minutes.
