Kara is new to the planet, even though she has been on earth for a year, since then she has come into contact with many people on earth and has grown comfortable with them, though she keeps herself at an arms length because she still feels unwelcome and like she is intruding. She has a hard time getting along with her earth classmate's because her intelligence is higher than them due to her learning everything about earth and it's people in Superman's lair.

Kara is nice though, even with her feeling like she's not welcome to the planet-even though no one knows her identity. She helps save people, like her cousin and

{superhuman strength} What kind of supergirl would Kara be if she didn't have super strength? Her strength is more than any human or animal known to the planet, and she can lift things far heavier than herself. Kara can bust down walls, lift and toss guys twice her size, and even break steel. She has been able to make craters in the ground, bridges bend and or course destroy buildings.
<p>
{flight}Kara can fly. 'nough said. She has no limit to how high she can fly, and has a good handle on her ability. She can change direction in an instant and can float in midair. Kara has a difficult time hiding her power of flight due to her living on a planet where she would be able to jump and not be left in mid air, plus her lack of experience on earth she isn't used to people who can't do what she does.
<p>
{invulnerability}Kara has skin that can't be pierced by anything, except for Kyptonite. She can take punches, and all sorts of other physical harm that could be caused to her. She has a slower aging process as well, due to her invulnerability. Kara is able to with stand most toxins, diseases and virus', though a few can affect her.

{speed and stamina}Not only is she able to run fast, but she can get her thoughts to match, along with everything else. She can go about a hundred miles an hour and she can see where she is going. Kara also has extremely good stamina, something that is needed to stop the bad guys and use her super powers. Because of her stamina she also less likely to get sick, even though she is invulnerable as it is.

{super breath,freeze breath} She is able to take in a lot of breath and then blow it out, creating wind that could go for miles. She can put out fires, or hold her breath for a long while. If she keeps her lips pursed her breath drops to freezing temperatures.

{x-ray,telescopic, microscopic, and heat vision}Kara is able to see through anyone and anything, with the exception of lead of course. Her x-ray vision is the same as the x-ray machines that hospitals use, which is the same reason that she cannot see through lead, since it blocks out the rays. Kara is able to see things that are miles away, unlike that of the normal human. And like telescopic vision she has the opposite, microscopic vision, allowing her to see things that are normally viewed under a microscope. Also along with all the different visions is heat vision, she can shoot out a heat blaze that is like a beam of red light. She isn't used to using her heat vision and is still a little shaky.
