I, Arisa Hala, do humbly welcome you to my prestigous roleplaying forum of 'A World Away'! In this thread I will offer a quick tutorial on how to use this forum in the quickest and easiest way- else you will spend hours trying to figure out where all the information you need is.

The first thing you need to read are the Board Rules. When reading these rules, keep your eyes peeled for italic words as they will be the key words required on your profile application later.

Second thing you need to do is learn about the school and the plot for this board. First read The School Synopsis. Not only does this tell you about the school, but it also contains the list of random termonology used in the Empire, or in other words useful jargon. Then read The School Rules & Regulations. These two threads will tell you everything you need to know about the school and about most the world in which we will be roleplaying.

Finally, you should start looking to submit a profile for your character by accessing the provided Profile Template. In order to fill out this profile you will also have to check out the Power Chart and the Species Synopsis.

So then all you have to do is wait until your application is accepted by the staff and moved to the accepted board. In the meantime, why don't you check out some of the other players' profiles? Or maybe read the Timeline of events to get an idea for what's happening.
