After packing up what little I had at my childhood home, I met Lila at the Manor, clasping her hand firmly in mine. “You ready for this, Mrs. Morgan?” I asked her with a soft smile.

Lila smiled with a nod of her head. "Actually I am but that doesn't mean I'm not still very nervous about it too." Lila's squeezed Jake's hand. She had already packed most everything that she was taking to Greystone Manor as well.

Lila smiled with a nod of her head. “Actually I am but that doesn’t mean I’m not still very nervous about it too.” She squeezed my hand. I know she had already packed most of her things that she was taking to her father’s house as well.

“It will be fine, you’ll see,” I told her, kissing the side of her head.

Lila smiled as he kissed the side of her head, trying to reassure her about everything being fine. "I know. It's just a little weird. Especially Dad offering to let us stay here without even blinking. And of course your mom still being very very angry about it all. She's not going to let things slid, you know."

“If anyone can talk my mom down, it has to be Dad and Sonny, they’ve known her a long time,” I told her then smiled when Sonny’s bodyguards opened the door for us. “Hey Max, Milo…Good to see you both.”

"True enough. I know your dad has always been good with calming Elizabeth down. They have a connection." Lila said as she nodded her head. As the doors were opened, she turned her attention to Max and Milo, Sonny's usual guards. "Hi." She greeted them with a smile.

“Hello, Miss Lila,” Milo said, smiling at her. I laughed a little. “Down boy, you’re married to Aunt Emily, remember?” I told him, clapping him on the shoulder.

Lila laughed at Jake's comment. She nudged him in the side gently. "He was only being nice." She said with a smile as she turned and looked at Milo. "How are you this evening, Milo? How is Aunt Em doing?"

Lila laughed at my comment. She nudged me in the side gently. “He was only being nice,” She said with a smile as she turned and looked at Milo. “How are you this evening, Milo? How is Aunt Em doing?”

“She is doing well, thank you for asking,” Milo replied, and I rolled my eyes, disentangling myself from Lila and going past Milo and Max, heading inside to sit down on the couch.

"That is good to hear. I am glad." Lila said as she watched Jake get a little frustrated at their conversation possibly, and make his way past them and over to the sofa in the living room. She turned back and gave Milo a smile. "Excuse me, please. I'm going to see what is wrong with my husband." Lila saw the shocked expressions on Milo and Max's faces but she knew that Sonny probably only told them what they needed to know and she just finished off their curiosity for them. Lila plopped down on the other end of the sofa away from him and looked at Jake. "What's wrong?"

“That is good to hear. I am glad,” Lila said as she watched me get a little frustrated at their conversation possibly, and make my way past them and over to the sofa in the living room. She turned back and gave Milo a smile. “Excuse me, please. I'm going to see what is wrong with my husband.” Lila saw the shocked expressions on Milo and Max's faces but she knew that Sonny probably only told them what they needed to know and she just finished off their curiosity for them. “We’re going to be around them everyday, so no flirting, or being nice. It makes your new husband a tiny bit jealous,” I told her.

Lila looked at Jake like he grew a second head on his shoulders. "I wasn't flirting, Jake. I was just being nice to them like I always am." The longer she thought about his comment, the angrier she got about it. She crossed her arms over her chest and let out a huff of air. "How could you even think I ever flirt with them!" Lila scooted further away from him and stared off straight ahead of her.

Lila looked at me like I’d grown a second head on my shoulders. “I wasn't flirting, Jake. I was just being nice to them like I always am.” The longer she thought about my comment, the angrier she got about it. She crossed her arms over her chest and let out a huff of air. “How could you even think I ever flirt with them?!” Lila scooted further away from me and stared off straight ahead of her.

I scooted closer. “I’m sorry, but you weren’t raised around them like I was, Lila,” I said, attempting to console her but she was having none of it.

Lila pouted and still wouldn't look at him. Her arms stayed crossed over her chest as Jake talked to her. "No I wasn't but I was around them off and on once I was returned to my family. I know how they are. They also know how my dad is. They'd never do anything to anger him especially when it comes to his children." Lila continued pouting. Not giving in to Jake.

“I know, Lila, please don’t be mad at me. You’re my new bride, and I don’t want you upset,” I said, trying to pull her close but she kept pushing any comfort that I wanted to give her away.
