Nikolas laughed as I stripped off his belt and he found his pants down around his ankles. He grinned at me for a moment as he swept me off my feet and jumped onto the bed with me. He looked down at her, caressed my cheek, then leaned down and kissed me deeply.

After making love, I went down into the kitchen to grab us a snack. I was wearing his shirt and a pair of oversize men’s boxers when the doorbell rang. Before heading to the kitchen, I decided to see who the visitor was first. “Spencer? Emma?” I asked quietly upon seeing who the visitors were.

Emma and myself had some news that couldn't wait. Moments before arriving I had proposed to her. We wanted to tell my family first in person. We didn't care the time. I saw my step-mother Liz in what seemed to be my fathers clothes. "Liz...We want to talk to everyone."

I waited until Spencer spoke to look down at my attire. “Liz…We want to talk to everyone,” he said. I felt my face go red in embarrassment.

“Okay. Let me go get your father upstairs and we’ll be right down,” I replied. I left them to get settled on the couch and went upstairs to find Nikolas. He was just resting when I joined him back on the bed. “Spencer and Emma are downstairs and they have something important to tell us.”

I groaned softly as I reached over and wrapped my arm around Elizabeth's waist, then nuzzled her gently. I was enjoying having some rare, quiet, alone time with her when she came up and told me that Spencer was here. "You know how much I love my son but I swear his timing is just terrible today", I said jokingly with a soft laugh. "I'd get dressed but some sexy nurse stole my shirt and is wearing it now" I said, teasing her.

Nikolas groaned softly as he reached over and wrapped his arm around my waist then nuzzled me gently. I know he was enjoying having some rare, quiet and alone time with me when I came back upstairs and told him that Spencer was here. “You know how much I love my son but I swear his timing is just terrible today,” he said jokingly with a soft laugh. “I'd get dressed but some sexy nurse stole my shirt and is wearing it now,” he said, teasing her.

“I’m sorry. But I was going to make us some snacks down in the kitchen when Spencer arrived with Emma,” I replied. “Your shirt and pants were the first things I could find.”

Emma and I walked into the house with a smile. We were so excited to tell my family. I looked around the house and then to Emma. She was admiring her ring. I pulled her head up and kissed her lips softly. "they will be down shortly my love" I said then kissing her forehead. As I looked to the stairs

There's nothing to be sorry about, sweetheart. Hell, they look better on you than they do on me. Let's get dressed and go talk to Spencer", I said with a smile, then kissed her before I got out of bed. I went to the closet, pulled some clothes and got dressed. I went to her. "I'm ready whenever you are"

“There’s nothing to be sorry about, sweetheart. Hell, they look better on you than they do on me. Let’s get dressed and go talk to Spencer,” he said with a smile then kissed me before he got out of bed. I watched him as he went to the closet pulled out some clothes and got dressed. He came back to me. “I’m ready whenever you are.”

I nodded, stood up on my tiptoes and kissed him softly. “I’ll be down in a minute. I should probably change into something more…me,” I said with a soft laugh. “There is cheesecake in the fridge in case you want something to eat.”

"Take your time, sweetheart. I love you", I said and headed downstairs to see Spencer and Emma while I waited for Elizabeth to change and join us. "Hello, Spencer...Emma. Its good to see you both. Elizabeth will be down in a minute. Is there anything I can get for either of you while we wait?"

“No. We have news but we’d rather wait for Spencer’s mom & step-dad as well as my parents to get here before we share it,” Emma replied softly, gazing up at Spencer.
