I’d been happy when Courtney accepted my proposal, and as I sat musing on it, I was interrupted by the soft and very brief feminine touch – made by my boss & fellow P.I., Samantha Cates. “Hey, love, did we get a new case?” I asked my accent heavy as I waited for her response.

“We will get a case that has lots of adventure sometime, Samantha, I know it,” I told her with a smile.

Before I could answer her again, we were interrupted by the arrival of our third person/employee, Damien Spinelli. “Fair Samantha, Private Irish, it is good that you are both here,” he began to ramble. “It seems that Fair Lilac has moved in with Mr. Sir.”
“Fair Lilac?” I asked, raising my eyebrow at that one.

I looked over at Duncan, thinking maybe he might know who 'Fair Lilac' was, but he didn't seem to have a clue, as he asked, "fair lilac?"
I turned my attention over to Spinelli. "Who's that?" I asked, as well.

She turned her attention over to Spinelli. “Who’s that?” she asked as well.
“Fair Samantha’s oldest, Lila,” Spinelli finally clued us in on who he had been talking about. “She and Little Stone Cold are living with Mr. Sir.”

I glanced at the clock on the wall and my eyes widen. "I gotta go, like now!" I said, not even bothering to wait for an answer before rushing out.

Walking up to Sam's office I can see her come out. "Hey baby" I said but then noticed something. "You ok?
