incredibly reliable. I've had a few over my years, the dear birds, and beside

a new owl. spriggi's too small to handle large packages, and most
envelopes, come to think of it. when i got him, i was sure he'd grow,

A companion close to three times his size might not seem too friendly an option,
I'm afraid. Birds are quite stupid, but I don't suppose at all that they are quite that

The lot I seem to meet happen to be down on themselves quite a lot. It's tiring.

Then maybe he is, in fact, a stupid bird. Not keeping them in the same cage is most
likely the best idea. Eagle owls tend to.. bite, to put it lightly. I think the next time
mine does it to me, I'll have to go out looking for a new one.

If they weren't my 'family' then I wouldn't. Unfortunately, we're tied by blood and
the lot of them aren't too fond of going out and being amongst everyone else. We
aren't so accepted, if you understand what I'm saying. But, regardless, I like to go
out so I don't become a hermit, or some ridiculous shit like that.

ah, i get you. my family makes me want to pull my
hair out. i have three older brothers and they're utterly useless,
so's my father. mother's quite lovely though, if she can manage
to stand up straight. i would go utterly bonkers if i couldn't get
out of my house and go on meaningless shopping expos to
diagon alley.

have to agree that meaningless shopping is something that everyone should do.
Even though my family isn't quite pleased when I come and spend the family
money to buy new clothes, and things. They seem to think I've collected far too
much in my years already. But then again, all they come to Diagon Alley for is
to find their next victim.

had to do the same. Just kill her off and your problem is solved. Unless you're
positively desperate for heirs to the family name. Then make her have a few

i'd gladly kill her off, but tragically, i'm not into the whole
macabre thing. plus, she's batty and has sided with the order and the
last bloody thing i need is a bunch of do gooders snooping around my
manor. i'm quite happy to never go forth and multiply. i think my older
brothers, no matter how much charm and sexual know-how they lack,
are more than capable of passing on some seed.

My husband of sorts? I suppose a lot like me, dark haired, pale, immortal. I think
we d'Eaths are sort of all alike in the end of things. But he, unlike the rest, knows
how to hold a conversation. Well, until he gets fed up with me and how I'm always
correct, and all. But he does love me, so he forgives me eventually.

admitting such a thing. Slips like that have caused Mothers to back away with their
children, even though I'm obviously not going for their throats, or anything. It's a
sad state of affairs, really. I'm surprised it took you that long to figure it out,
actually.

Discreet? I lack that ability in all things but lurking in alleyways.
Otherwise my family wouldn't entertain the thought of killing me constantly, since I
