hogsmeade.
a quaint little picturesque wizarding village just steps away from hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. with cute cottages and many shops nestled into the homely landscape every now and then, it's a perfect place to spend a nice saturday morning. for the perfect day of shopping and fun, you can visit the shops like: gladrags wizardwear, honeydukes sweetshop, scrivenshaft's quill shop, zonko's joke shop and the newest addition to the shop line-up, bewitch me witchwear. or maybe you have some for a meal or two, in which case you can get busy to that at one of the many pubs and cafes along the way. the hog's head taven, madame puddifoot's and the three broomsticks are just some of the dozens of eateries and bars you'll find here. or are you daring enough to enter the shrieking shack? either way, you'll definately enjoy your stay here at hogsmeade.

diagon alley.
it's one of the more dark places of wizarding london. tapping a brick wall behind the leaky cauldron in london will bring you to one of the most commercial parts of wizarding britain. dark magic is still welcomed here with opened arms but with a watchful eye too. of course, there's plenty of places for you to go and choose from. there was many of cafes around, surrounded with colorful umbrellas and flashy signs. or maybe you want to shop around a bit, at places such as: the apothecary, the cauldron shop, eeylops owl emporium, flourish & blotts, madam malkin's robes for all occasions, madam primpernelle's beautifying potions,, ollivander's, quality quidditch goods, weasleys' wizard wheezes and of course the prestigeous twilfit & tatting's. or do you have some serious business to attend to, in which case get over to places such as: the daily prophet offices, gringotts and those shady dark arts establishments. need a sweet treat? florean fortescue's ice cream parlour is also here. it's clear that in every young witch and wizard's life, they'll find themselves here atleast once.

located in london, st mungo's hospital for magical maladies and injuries was founded by the famous healer mungo bonham in the 1600s. to enter the premises, one may step through the window of what appears to be a red-bricked, condemned department store called purge and dowse, ltd. whatever your ailment, from a creature induced injury to poisoning, a virus to spell damage, even the burns from an artifact accident can easily be healed within the walls. not sick, no problem. the visitor’s center is on the top floor in case you need anything during your visit.

ministry of magic.
despite the new prophecy, the minister still has plenty of other obligations to fulfill such as the law to enforce, magical transportation and of course international cooperation. the unspeakables in the department of mysteries are doing all they can to decipher just who the next dark lord is, while those in games & sports are busy planning the next quidditch world cup to be held in Ireland. the goblins have been asking for more privileges as of late, keeping the department for the regulation and control of magical creatures extremely busy, and the department of magical accidents & catastrophes is readying themselves for when the new generation decides to start causing magic to happen in the muggle world. the courtrooms are hardly ever full nowadays, and you’re more likely to find the jurors in recess in the atrium rather in court.

london, england.
london is the largest urban area, as well as the capital, of england and the united kingdom. founded by the romans, it certainly has made large advances concerning politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion and arts up to this year of two thousand and eight. it's a major global city inherited by not only the muggle population, but at times, a scattering of witches and wizards as well. they're not there for the historical importance, of course. they're there for the life. they're there for the west end, the underground, soho, picadilly circus, the london eye, grand park and café rouge. have your fun here - it may not be the city of lights, but it's pretty damn close.

the malfoy manor.
the malfoy manor, located in wiltshire, certainly is something to gawk at. perched atop a high up hill, the base of which guarded by vine-smothered gates, the massive estate seemingly refuses to crumble as the years go by. constructed mainly of stone and wrought iron, the medievalesque manor doesn't attract many visitors. it's somewhat threatening, with its wrought iron windows, constantly smoking chimney and looming appearance. it has about six useless bedrooms, a large living room, several worthless bathrooms and quite a large garden out back. good luck seeing the inside.
INHABITANTS: draco malfoy, asteria malfoy.

camelot court, flat 2a.
the first major purchase made by Harlow and Elise after they were married, the flat is a two bedroom, one and a half bath deal, and they were lucky to have found it so cheaply. there's a decently sized kitchen for Elise to putter about in, as well as two spare rooms used for various purposes. however, lately Elise has been spending most of her time in the bedroom and bathroom, seeing as she's on maternity leave and is too huge to travel the great distance from bed to... anywhere else.
INHABITANTS: harlow tremlett and elise tremlett.

seamus was never the best at picking a place to live and to be honest his original idea of living in a tent near the world cup stadium sounded amazing to him. thankfully Lavender had other plans and took full control of finding a home for the two to purchase right after the wedding. located in the same region of the original order headquarters and still a twenty minute walk from king’s cross station is the home the Finnigan’s call home. two floors make up the rather large town home of three bedrooms, two baths, a rather large kitchen for Seamus to kick Lavender out of and the typical living and dinning rooms. since the pregnancy Seamus has had to give up the closest spare room full of his Ireland and Qudditch stuff for the baby but in return he secretly throws those bloody cats out the window for revenge. he figures they have so bloody many roaming the house she won’t notice…and she hasn’t just yet.
INHABITANTS; seamus finnigan, lavender finnigan.

the carrow estate.
located in wiltshire, a stone's throw from any number of their former classmates, is the home of tertius and jocaste carrow. although they moved in just over a year ago, the white stucco home was built in the 1920's, but later remodeled. spanish style in appearance, the interior is very much free-flowing and relaxed. the first floor includes the house elves quarters, a sitting room, dining room, kitchen and an office. the second floor is compromised of the master bedroom and master bath, with the adjoining, recently added, nursery. outdoors, there's a lush, tropical garden [with a little magical help], as well as a dining area and coach house.
INHABITANTS; tertius carrow, jocaste carrow.

you can tell that neville lives in this apartment even before you enter, because the entire place is covered with plants. there are two assyrian imports next to the door and numerous plants - both magical and non-magical - in various places around the apartment. in fact, one of the three bedrooms is almost like neville's own personal greenhouse. hannah doesn't seem to mind, since her husband takes care of all the plant maintenance and his green obsessions cheer up the place. the kitchen is her domain, as neville is too clumsy to be allowed to cook. since hannah is pregnant, though, her husband is learning to feed himself and her.
INHABITANTS: neville longbottom, hannah longbottom.

77 bender lane, apartment 34.
aura's apartment is nothing fancy. it is, of course, stable enough to live in, thank god. with four rooms and enough furniture for one person, it's cozy enough. when it comes to aura, it's never luxury, it's comfort. candles and magical instruments are strewn all over the apartment, signalling that it could only belong to aura smith. all the walls are colored a simple shade of orange, and every room other than the kitchen is covered in carpet. believe it or not, aura is quite content in her rather small apartment. an apartment her parents would never set foot in.

considering that the leaky cauldron only pays her so much, the place she's got is quite grand. with a kitchen doubling as a dining room as well, a small living room, two smaller bedrooms and an even smaller bath, it's all the space that miss corner needs. even with the small space, it's got dahlia's flair with over sized furniture and various paintings covering the walls. this apartment is the third she's rented since she left home, and she still hasn't learned not to annoy the landlord too much. we'll see how long this one lasts.

krum mansion.
located in the rolling pastures of cornwall, the krum mansion is nothing less than extravagant. the house is an off white color with black shutters, vitorian style archways, and doors. the inside ranges from lavishings of nineteenth century furniture to the most up to date and modern contraptions. the entire west wing of house has outer walls made of glass, facing the lovely and lush side yard with well kept grass and fresh daisies. out the front door is a little worn path that leads down through the luxurious gardens and to the white sanded beach. the mansion is well equipped to suit the needs of the krums, with a studio with a small platform stage for gabrielle and a private quidditch pitch for viktor to go wild in. fitted with a large master bedroom with an equally large garden bath, a well stocked and lighted kitchen, and the most proper drawing room ever to be seen, the krum mansion is prepared for any sort of engagement--be it frank or frivolous or somewhere in between.

avery cottage.
nestled in the french countryside, julius avery recently took residence in a small cottage that has been in his family for generations. previous to him, the house had remained uninhabited for quite awhile. now, the old brick building is up and running once more. sitting on a few acres, the cozy cottage is surrounded by willow trees and gardens of seasonal flowers. the inside is ornately decorated and impeccably kept. lux, julius's house elf, is at all guests beck and call.

located on arguably one of the best streets in central london, this 2 bedroom flat benefits from being merely meters from regents park. With 2 large double bedrooms, open plan kitchen/reception, callum pretty much adores his new place. the refurbishment work has now been completed, done to an extremly high standard and now is ready for the twenty-five year old. the lobby of the building has been decorated to the highest standards and is truly stunning, 24 hour portered security and tenants have access to the private park in the crescent.

5 euston square, number 15.
located in the bloomsbury of london, elsa lives in a small flat off to the side of central bloomsbury. bought and paid for with her own earnings, the small flat is in a relatively nice area. a one bedroom, one bath flat, it's small and cozy enough for elsa and maybe another guest that might pop in and stay for the night. the kitchen is the only squeaky clean area within the whole flat (and the bathroom); it also directly connects to the living room. messily organized her way, the flat has wooden flooring with its walls painted warm shades of red and brown. she was even lucky enough to get a flat with a small balcony that overlooks the cobblestoned streets below.

shell cottage.
by the beach in southampton, shell cottage is a quaint two-storey house. much bigger on the inside than the outside, it is stylishly decorated by fleur, with four bedrooms - one ready for their new arrival. the outside is like a traditional cottage with sash windows and roses around the windows.

when charlie weasley moved back to england with his wife, cezarina, the pair spent months hunting for the perfect house. something that would remind them of eastern europe, the great outdoors and the wild back and beyond. finally settling in dartmoor, the area of britain most famed for its ghost stories and folk tales, the couple had a house built on high willhays. perhaps coincidently resembling charlie's childhood home, the settlement looks as if it would topple over given half the chance, almost as if the structure was thrown together without any thought to practicality. from the outside, in order to comply with english national park regulations, the building appears to be a conservation station, but inside it is an assortment of corridors and rooms, mostly furnished by cez, and brought together only by its common decor of a traditional romanian cabin.
INHABITANTS: charlie and cezarina weasley.

carrow manor.
carrow manor's quite lovely, really. nestled among the rolling hills of cambridgeshire is a large white manor, decorated in the plantation style with wide collums, large square windows, and several verendas. up through the wide gravel path and through a large set of mahagony double doors, and you're in the spacious parlor. to the west is a set of sitting rooms and to the east are the kitchens and the dining room. the second floor is comprised of the parents' rooms as well as the guest rooms. the third floor was once the war zone of the four carrow boys, but only one remains now, still having his mother make him cookie sandwiches and glaring at his father across the dinner table. his rooms are lavish enough to suit him: lots of windows, red drapes, soft plush white carpet, tons of furniture to longue upon. outside is a luxuriuos garden of various flowers and a small owlery. quartus has sort of an owl fettish and buys one whenever the impulse strikes. a small creek runs through the side-yard, accenting the gazebo and the tullip garden. a croquette set decorates the space in the yard that the gazebo does not take up, mallets and balls left lying around. the other yards are quite spacious and inviting; after all--four loud and eccentric boys grew up here.
