He took note of the silent pleadings and he smiled softly, then came the fear, most humans feared this place and he blinked slowly and he wound his arms around the other and he whispered.

"The Rainbow-bridge that leads to my castle. Dont worry, as long as you are with me, you will never fall, no one falls unless they lose all faith and hope....this bridge is a test to most people...will you give into the fears around you and let them consume you...or are you strong enough to push ahead and gain what it is you really seek...." his tone was soft and gentle and he rocked the other slowly, gently, in a soothing manner.

"Do not..be afraid...."

"Why?" Alex asked, liked a small child wondering why the world went round. "Why is this is a test? Everything's a test, Arjen. Why can't it just be a bridge, and nothing more?" As he spoke, he snuggled up into the chest of the puppy lion.

As he rested his cheek against Arjen, he listened to his heartbeat and breathing. There was something unnatural about it, but it was soothing nonetheless. He thought, since this was a dream, perhaps it was Kcris's breathing he really heard, and that was what he inserted into the dream. "I don't like tests, Arjen. I failed them in school. Why can we just sit here and hold each other?"

Arjen sighed softly and nuzzled the other, drawing him close and resting his head against the other's and he hummmed gently, rocking ever so slightly with the other, his breath escaped him in a soft sigh and he whispered.

"We can just lay here and hold one another...and not everything here is a test....The Tower of Hope, the Decision tree, the Tunnel of light....they are just places..." he trailed off slowly and kissed Lex gently. "I missed you a whole lot..."
